Mission Statement
- Harvest House Ministries is a Christ-centered organization
seeking to provide for the needs of the homeless, addicted and
hurting within our communities.
- We are a registered, charitable, street-level organization,
which invests in the lives of those less fortunate within our
communities.
- We acknowledge that every person is created in the image of God
and therefore, deserve to be loved, respected and valued.
We accomplish this by:
- Demonstrating God's love, peace and justice to all.
- Responding to and providing for the basic human needs.
- Offering service, programs and networks of mutual support,
which enables them to improve their lives.
- Providing opportunities for people to experience the Gospel of
Christ's love, grace, hope and forgiveness.
- Assisting individuals and families to break cycles of poverty
in their lives.
- Being a catalyst for healthy change within the community we
serve.
- Being a voice of advocacy on behalf of those we serve, so as to
meet Christ's command for social justice.
- Encouraging those we serve to become positive participants and
contributors in their communities.
- Cultivating a committed and qualified team of staff and
volunteers.
- Developing strategic partnerships with churches, individuals,
agencies, governments and businesses.
